Anthony Hazelden
Anthony Hazelden is a highly experienced
lighting designer, creative director and
lighting programmer working across
Concerts, Festivals, Television, Sports and
Major Events.
Anthony developed an interest in lighting at the age of 12 at this time he spend many trips to theatres to shows and look at how the lighting was being used for the production. Whilst attending secondary school Anthony was very lucky to be brought into a brand new £500,000 state of the art theatre and then became in charge of the lighting for all the events and productions held there. This was a very big step at the age of 15, having all the latest equipment Anthony became very familiar with ETC lighting desks which then lead on to the use of Strand, Avolites and Chamsys.
As part of his final year at secondary school Anthony was required to do a week of work experience, he chose to do this at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon. After the week was over the technical team was really impressed with his skills for his age Anthony was asked to come back and become a lighting technician at the theatre.

Anthony then went on to attending Glamorgan University in Wales to study Electrical electronic engineering & Lighting Design and Live Events Technology. He then went to work at few different nightclubs with live music and top tier DJ's/music producers this introduced him to a whole new world of music genres and how different styles of music have different requirements for lighting.
In 2012 Anthony became LD for MK (Marc Kinchen) a Top 40 chart house music DJ and producer, MK's management started of with UK tours and now is touring all over the world designing arena & festival shows.
As a well established designer he created the Qatar National day celebrations which was broadcasted over Television. Anthony has also operated/programmed lighting for multiple Disney films, MTV, BBC,Channel 4.
Anthony mainly specialises in music as LD on tours for Akon, Ashanti, Davido, Nathan Dawe, Sean Paul, Neyo, Blink 182, MK, Fatman Scoop, Alexander O'Neal, Soul II Soul, Bakermat, KC Lights, Nightlapse, Patrick Topping, Bingo Players, DJ Chuckie, Jaguar Skills, Gorillaz plus many more.
